Just thought I’d share a couple of magazines that I’ve been digging.

I think the Asian cover model is adorable, don’t you think?

Stumbled on this mag while waiting at the departure hall at Perth in June. Two words: Love It. And I am delighted to note that Singapore carries this magazine too! Saw it at both Kinokuniya at Ngee Ann City and Page One at Vivocity. I got my issue 42 from Page One (for July/Aug). Can’t wait to read it!!!

Hihi, haven’t been blogging in ages.

Anyway. My friend showed me this fashion site zipia.net that sells some decent leather bags. I just made my purchase :)

A nagging similarity of a particular Balenciaga bag?

I took a snapshot of the Part Time bag as I felt that the purple bag seemed most similar to this one.

One downside of this site is that it is managed by a Korean company that, I think, has trouble communicating in English. Hence, it’s FAQs are not very helpful as they answer simply without much explanation. It left me hanging there without getting my questions answered. Till now, even though I’ve paid for my order through Paypal, I’m still unsure whether the company has received my payment since there was no indication on how to present my payment (i.e. whether my order number typed in the message box is sufficient).

Oh gosh.

Another downside is that the minimum purchase is US$300. GST??? I read somewhere that it will split the delivery into different phases and indicate on the box that the content is a gift and costs less than US$100.

Third downside. Very very shitty indeed. They do not accept credit card payments. What? In this day and age? And even the bank transfer option would require me to pay an additional US$20 for bank charges. Hurh???

Ok, I’d better not worry too much about whether they’ve received my payment. Yikes, I hope they have. :(

750 ml vodka (depending on size of container)
4 oz. fresh blueberries
8 oz. fresh raspberries
8 oz. bag of frozen mixed berries
Tight-seal glass container

Combine fresh berries into container and lightly bruise them, just enough to open up the berries. Add frozen berries to fresh berries, and fill container with vodka (amount will depend on the size of your container!). Serve in shot glasses, or as a sipping drink. The flavors of the berries and vodka swap, so enjoy the drink, and beware of the strong taste of alcohol in the berries!

I’m gonna try this one out! Really excited :) Firstly though, I need to get some of those jars from IKEA.
